Nestled in the Hawaiian fern forest of Mauna Loa Estates and situated near the edge of Kazamura Cave, Aloha Crater Lodge welcomes you.  Located less than 2 miles from the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, our rooms are designed like a mini Hotel with your privacy in mind.

Enjoy the whirlpool, jetted tub located in the midst of the forest near to our lavatube entrance. Kazamura cave, the largest lavatube cave system in the United States. The current      action in the Hawaii Volcanoe National  park is amazing.  Besides the many trails and daily activity offered by the Volcanoes Hawaii National Park Service we recommend you enjoy a fabulous dinner in the Volcanoes Hawaii National Park.  As the sun goes down you can often see a red glow at the base of the plume.  Outside the National Park near Kalapana in lower Puna you can see the lava flowing into the ocean.  It's a spectacular show!
